An experienced **CNC Lathe Operator** is required for our company in Umm Al Quwain.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Setting up and operating of CNC lathe machine
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical
- Experience in the following is required:
- Usage of hand & power tools such as files, saws, grinders, emery papers, and precision measuring devices such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, etc.
- Operate conventional lathe machine
- Work experience in the tool room environment, especially injection molds manufacturing
- Achieve the required dimensions and tolerance in the job as per drawing.
- Assemble specific operations such as matching and fitting of parts with in-process inspection
- Manual drilling, tapping, and die passing

**Job responsibilities**:

- Handle job settings with appropriate holding devices and job-axis trueing -chuck and jaws, face plates
- Proper tool selection, tool offset setup, tool change
- Common CNC lathe operations-turning, facing, grooving, thread cutting, parting, drilling,
polishing, etc.
- Machine maintenance and proper machine cleaning
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings
- Plan the operations and work holding setups needed at multiple stages in a job also considering the material type
- G-code manual programming of profiles as per the given drawing
- Read and edit existing programs as per changes in requirements
- Do the programming to cut threads
- internal and external
- Estimate the time required for each job completion
- Recognize tool/insert wear and replace worn-out tools
- Capable to manage the functioning of 2 machines at the same time
- Train and assist new operators
- Maintain machine log documents, records and drawings as required

**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
