**Job Title**: Mechanical Fitter - Special Purpose Machines (SPM)

**Location**: Thirumudivakkam, Chennai
**Experience**: 3-5 years (preferred in SPM assembly)
**Industry**: Manufacturing / Automation / Machinery

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints.
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies for SPMs.
- Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, and other operations as needed.
- Align and adjust parts to ensure proper mechanical function.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Conduct test runs and support in commissioning of machines.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during all stages of assembly.
- Maintain tools and workspace in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

**Requirements**:

- ITI/Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical trade or equivalent.
- Should have experience in Fittings & Settings
- 3+ years of experience working on special purpose or custom-built machines.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, dial gauge).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with automation or robotic systems.
- Knowledge of machine testing and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of electrical components is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
