A multimedia and video designer's duty covers all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with business users/customers and assessing their needs, designers help, create, and maintain the product.
Their duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:

- Determining technical requirements
- Designing webpage CREATIVE & EYE-CATCHING layout
- Work on HTML & CSS extensively
- Creating Ad Banners, Ad Video, images for website etc
- Writing and editing content
- Updating websites
- Debugging & fixing responsive design issues, Solving code problems
- Creating back up files

Web designers need education in computer technology and website design to be competitive in the job market.

An associate's degree program related to web design or multimedia, such as an Associate of Applied Science in Web Design and Graphics, provides a student with a foundation in the advanced skills to design and technical aspects of creating a professional website. Students develop artistic and creative abilities in addition to technical skills and learn to build professional portfolios that highlight their skills and abilities.
