**Job description**
**Duties may include, but are not limited to the following**:
F Total responsibility of the entire Nursing Department.
F To be responsible for planning quality nursing cares for the patients.
F Taking over the report from nursing supervisors daily (VIP & Critical patient).
F To determine the correct number of nursing personnel to achieve the objectives of the institution.
F To establish criteria for evaluation of the nursing personnel.
F To conduct daily rounds in the wards and delegate work accordingly.
F To coordinate with other departments of the hospital for the smooth functioning.
F To develop standardized recruitment plan.
F Will be accountable for manpower, materials and maintenance of all equipments and accurate records medical and nursing.
F To plan for the yearly budget and monthly expenditure of the department with senior nursing superintendent.
F To evaluate the effectiveness of the staff and their performance half yearly and annually.
F To administer the activities of the staff nursing hostel.
F To participate in weekly meetings with all the nursing supervisors and sister - in-charges.
F To attend HOD meeting promptly.
F Maintaining the discipline and systems in the department.
F To be responsible for assignment and supervision of the nursing students with coordination of school and college principal.
F To have daily feedback system on day-to-day activities.
F To plan for crisis management.
F To coordinate with the school and college inspection by the Nursing Council.
F To be responsible for the smooth functioning of the staff nurse’s hostel.
F To participate in the hospital activities related to community services.
F Taking over report from nursing supervisors daily.
F Responsible for the yearly auditing by the internal auditors and external auditors
F Responsible for maintaining JCIA standard and departmental quality monitors.
F To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
F To be aware of departments performance and objective.
F To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
F To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
F To perform any job/ task as and when assigned by the superior.
F To ensure all the employees are trained/oriented about the quality systems of the department.
F To conduct manpower study in Nursing Department.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
