Responsibilities:

- Medication Dispensing:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal requirements and professional standards.
- Verify prescription orders for completeness and accuracy, including appropriate dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper administration techniques.
- Patient Care:

- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy effectiveness and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy regimens and resolve medication-related problems.
- Provide medication therapy management services, including medication reconciliation, adherence counseling, and monitoring for therapeutic outcomes.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding their medications.
- Drug Information and Education:

- Stay informed about new medications, drug therapies, and pharmaceutical advancements.
- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
- Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives on medication safety and proper medication use.
- Pharmacy Operations:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and patient profiles.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Monitor medication inventory levels and facilitate medication procurement and inventory management.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer service.
- Quality Assurance:

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and patient care.
- Perform medication therapy reviews and drug utilization evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement medication safety protocols and error-prevention strategies.
- Collaboration and Interprofessional Communication:

- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with prescribers to clarify prescription orders and resolve medication-related issues.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, meetings, and committees as needed.

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Active pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
- Clinical experience or residency training preferred.
- Strong understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and medication therapy management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹28,603.48 per month
