Etp Operator

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure safe and efficient treatment of industrial wastewater, in compliance with environmental regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate ETP equipment and monitor key parameters (pH, flow, TDS, etc.)
- Maintain daily logs of inflow, outflow, and chemical dosing
- Ensure treated water meets internal and legal discharge standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tanks, pumps, pipelines, and work area
- Report any breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor
- Follow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols
- Support in sludge handling and safe waste disposal
- Ensure optimal use of chemicals to control operational costs

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Zero non-compliance in treated water quality
- Smooth, uninterrupted ETP operation
- Minimal chemical wastage and rework
- Timely reporting and documentation

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- ITI/Diploma in Environmental or Mechanical field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of ETP operation experience
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
- Basic understanding of EHS standards and documentation
