**DESIGNER (M/F)**

**Introduction given by Hiring manager**:
You will be part of the Piping team lead by one of our experienced Managers to execute all Design drafting related activities for Thermal Oxidizer, Flare gas recovery system, Vapor recovery unit & Vapor combustion Units. You will be responsible for the preparation of 3D Model, Fabrication drawings, GA drawings and Layouts in Autodesk Plant 3D version 2018-2021 professional & Advance steel knowledge to extract the skid frame shop drawing. You will ensure that the drawings meet or exceed the Customer / Fabrication requirement and with desired quality output with required schedule. Should be able to work in a dynamic situation supporting different product groups and in other tools like Autodesk Plant 3D / Autodesk Advance steel / AutoCAD / Office 365. Must have good communication skills and be flexible to work in shifts or on Saturdays as desired by Management time to time.

**A Day in The Life Typically Includes**:

- Designing / Drafting for Piping team (TO/VRU/VCU & Flare system) which includes preparation of 3D model, Fabrication drawings, GA drawings and Layouts in Layouts in 3D design software’s as mentioned above.
- Junction box & instrument location drawing development based on the package general arrangement drawing
- Cable & cable tray layout drawings development using software like AUTOCAD Plant 3D
- Calculation of Bill of Material for cable trays based on finalized model.
- Review of junction box schedule, cable schedule and cable block diagram to understand the cable layout requirements.
- Review of Customer specification to understand instrument layout and cable tray layout requirements.
- Development of the conduit layouts for various packages based on NEC 70 requirements.
- Preparation of Grounding layout for instruments.
- Participate in model reviews.
- Understanding Customer specifications, Creating Piping specification in Autodesk plant 3D & Cad Worx and Support catalog / Valve catalog Specification Summery to execute your Work.
- Preparing Bill of materials for Fabrication Drawings suitable for ERP system or otherwise.
- Analyze the work content and estimation of drafting hours required to complete the task with available inputs.
- Working with other functions like Controls, Process & structure to ensure the piping design to meet the customer requirement and in line with PO.
- Working with stipulated time and should have good communication skill to learn the project requirement quickly.

**What You Will Need**:

- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience designing products like Fuel gas skid, Thermal oxidizer, Burner, Boiler, fired heater and other combustion related product or mass transfer equipment in oil and gas industries.
- Knowledge of Cable tray layout development using Plant 3D software will be added advantage.
- Preparation of junction box, panel and cabinet General Arrangement, Internal Layout and Wiring Drawings
- Good experience in modeling and detailing of fabrication / component drawings using above mention software’s for 3D modeling. Should have worked with AutoCAD drawings also.
- 3D modeling software Experience with Autodesk plant 3D / Inventor / Cadworx together shall be an added advantage.
- Stanchions and support frames for junction boxes, panel, instruments, and enclosures.
- Fabrication drawing for cable tray supports and Bill of Material preparation.
- Should be able to work with minimum guidance
- Quality focused and self-motivated for on job learning.
- Ensure peer reviews and ability to learn from the feedbacks.
- Ensure on time delivery of documents/drawings.
- Team player - willing to learn and share the knowledge with all the colleagues.
- Follow company guidelines and ensure compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of steel materials as per national and international standards.
- Should have a valid passport and willing to travel within India or overseas during any organizational requirement
- Diploma / ITI-NCVT in Mechanical.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
