Job Description

ABC Fitness Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Auditor to support ISO 27001 compliance and readiness efforts across multiple business units. This is a contract role, working closely with the InfoSec team and cross-functional stakeholders to prepare for the upcoming ISO 27001 surveillance audit scheduled for early Q2 2026. The scope also includes expanding the audit coverage to include the Trainerize and EVO product lines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Conduct internal audits across multiple business units (Glofox, Ignite Commerce, Insights, M&O, Trainerize, EVO)
- Design and continuously evolve internal audit methodologies and documentation standards to align with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with executive leaders, Legal, IT, and Governance teams to deliver audit outcomes that inform business strategy and improve internal controls
- Serve as the internal expert on audit and risk management practices, advising senior leadership on control frameworks, regulatory trends, and operational improvements
- Lead complex, multi-department audits and enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify high-impact compliance and operational risks.
- Perform gap assessments and lead remediation planning to meet ISO 27001 standards
- Review and update ISMS (Information Security Management System) documentation
- Complete risk assessments and maintain an up-to-date risk register
- Address “opportunities for improvement” from prior audit findings
- Develop and maintain policy and procedure documentation aligned with ISO 27001 controls
- Mentor junior audit professionals and support knowledge-sharing across the compliance and risk community.
- Create and maintain an evidence repository to support certification audits
- Collaborate with InfoSec and cross-functional business leaders to ensure compliance understanding and readiness
- Internal audit reports for each scoped business unit
- Risk assessments and updated risk registers
- Reviewed and/or newly drafted ISMS documentation
- Updated Statement of Applicability (SOA)
- Gap assessment documentation for Commerce, Insights, and M&O
- Complete ISO 27001 evidence package for 2026 surveillance audit

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

- 15+ years of proven experience conducting internal audits, with proven proficiency in ISO 27001 audits
- Strong knowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk assessment, and information security controls
- Experience working across multiple business units in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under a fixed timeline

AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:

- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certification
- Experience working with InfoSec or compliance teams in high-growth tech environments
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and information security tools
