Admissions Counselor

bluehawks is looking for an organized, engaging Admissions Counselor who will connect students with the programs, and resources to help them get the most out of the learning experience.

To be a successful Admissions Counselor, you should be committed to learning more about the students you work with and how they may benefit from specific programs. You should be knowledgeable, resourceful, and supportive with strong communication skills.

Admissions Counselor Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with internal teams to develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies.
- Inform senior management on new program features to be developed to meet current and future business needs.
- Identify and qualify new customers based on company’s business model and guidelines.
- Initiate and build relationships with customers through phone, marketing mailer campaigns, in-person contacts, and presentations.

Admissions Counselor Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (Fresher/ Experienced)
- Experience in college admissions may be preferred.
- Familiarity with college and university programs, majors, admissions requirements and processes, and scholarship and financial aid resources.
- Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and people reading skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Willingness to guide others and provide ongoing support as they make important decisions.
