Purpose of the position

The System Administrator is a key resource who will proactively coordinate and liaise with the relevant stakeholders and their teams to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and network requirements. S/he should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

**Academic Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification as Systems Administrator is a plus
- 2-4 years of relevant years of experience in managing IT systems
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues

**Key Responsibilities**

The role envisages the following areas of activities:

- **1. IT Infrastructure Management**_

a. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

b. Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks

c. Set up accounts, laptops & workstations

d. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

e. Manage network servers and technology tools

f. Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

g. Upgrade systems with new releases and models

h. Develop expertise to train team members on new technologies
- **2. Other Support**_

a. IT systems budget, software and hardware procurement data security policy and functions

b. Build an internal tool with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies, whenever required.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Proactive and detail oriented
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and be goal oriented
- Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly

**Salary**: ₹204,904.11 - ₹809,575.11 per year

- Monday to Friday
