**Job Description and Qualifications**

**IV. DIMENSIONS**:

- Responsible for electrical design for AP projects.
- Responsible for producing all electrical design documents on a project.
- An electrical designer supports the lead Electrical Engineer on the project and as the technical interface with AP project execution teams. The primary purpose is the delivery of a safe, fit for purpose electrical design to an agreed schedule and construction budget.
- Providing support to other AP engineering centers as workload requires.

**V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Experience to generate all electrical design deliverables like layouts (cable, power, lighting, earthing), schematics, E& I interface schedule, cable schedules, SLDs, MTOs, modelling etc.
- Experience working with tools like Micro station and SP3D or PDS.
- Experience / Exposure of using global engineering standards
- Knowledge and experience of plant layouts and model review meetings
- Experience and knowledge to effectively communicate issues and ideas effectively.

**V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A Diploma in electrical and work experience of around 11 - 13 years’ experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills
- Experience comparable with the grade in a relevant industry.
- Must be familiar with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups globally.
