**The Role**:
Quidich is hiring a full-time 3D Modeling Generalist, who will be responsible for creating 3D assets for Augmented Reality. This would include 3D stadiums and rigged 3D models of sportsmen. Your work will be consumed by millions of people and you will be an instrumental part of a new product launch that will revolutionize sports broadcast. **Responsibilities**:

- You will be working on Augmented Reality projects and will be required to accurately create 3D objects in both high and low polygon based on point-cloud & real life photo references. These can be anything from props, buildings, vegetation, set dressing & characters.
- Ensure all 3D assets meet specifications provided by all relevant departments.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Handle all aspects of the pipeline of 3D content generation - from concept, animation & creation.
- Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas.
- Problem solve and troubleshoot general software & hardware issues..
- Ensure projects are completed on time.
- You should be a proactive team player with strong work ethic, self-direction and ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving.
- Able to receive feedback from your Managers and Clients and constantly critique your own work to achieve the best possible quality.
- Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the industry and 3D community.

**Qualifications, Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent skills in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animating and rendering of photo-realistic 3D assets.
- An ability to create orthographic references for 3D character models, props and cricket stadiums.
- Should have good knowledge in UV layout, texture projections, and 2D texture painting in UV layouts. Creating high quality textures from photographic references including but not limited to colour using normal maps, specular maps, parallax mapping and knowledge in shader networks will be an advantage.
- Build and maintain animation rigs of varying complexity (creature rigs, props, hero and background assets, 3D Character animation, motion capture rigs, face rigs etc)
- Strong visual skills - a good eye for detail of character anatomy, perspective, scale, composition, colour, physical motion, weight, balance and form.
- Good to have basic knowledge in CG Lighting techniques, color theory, balance/contrast, rendering techniques such as Global Illumination, HDRI, Final Gather, pre-rendering, real-time rendering, Digital Lighting, Color Theory, Balance/Contrast and

Emotive response.
- An eye for composition, realism, texture, color, and lighting.
- Good communication in English and teamwork skills are essential as the role requires direct communication with International team members.
- Understanding of low poly modelling.

**Required Software Knowledge**:

- Minimum 3 years experience with 3DS MAX / Maya.
- Understanding of Unreal Engine/VizRT will be a huge advantage. You should be able to create 3D layout, prefabs, level design, scene lighting in and understand blueprints.
- Experience with softwares like Adobe Photoshop; Sketchup; Z-Brush; Blender will be a plus.

This is a full-time role, based in Mumbai. Given current COVID19 restrictions in Mumbai, this role will be work-from-home to begin with and will require you to work from our Headquarters in Andheri East once restrictions are lifted.

**Salary**: ₹36,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
