Data Operations Associate

**Job Summary**:
The Data Operations Associate for the Finance Department will play a crucial role in supporting various finance-related functions by managing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of data. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, an understanding of financial data structures, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, compliance, and secretarial departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Data Management & Integrity**
- Collect, organize, and maintain accurate financial, legal, and compliance-related data across multiple databases and systems.
- Monitor data accuracy, integrity, and completeness for finance and compliance reporting.
- Work with the compliance and legal sub-departments to ensure secure handling and storage of sensitive information.

**2. Financial Data Analysis**
- Perform regular and ad-hoc data analyses to support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare data reports and visualizations to aid in strategic decision-making by the finance team.
- Assist in tracking key financial metrics and KPIs to support financial planning and analysis activities.

**3. Compliance Support**
- Support the compliance sub-department in data collection and documentation for regulatory and internal audits.
- Ensure that all records meet internal and external compliance requirements, such as those related to tax, data protection, and industry standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies in data that may affect compliance and audit outcomes.

**4. Legal & Secretarial Coordination**
- Work closely with the legal and secretarial teams to maintain organized records of contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
- Support document retrieval and organization during corporate due diligence processes.
- Collaborate in maintaining statutory registers, minutes, and other records required under corporate laws.

**5. Process Improvement & Automation**
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements in data handling to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining data-driven tools and software to support automation in reporting and analytics.
- Proactively propose solutions to streamline data management across finance, legal, compliance, and secretarial sub-departments.

**6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration**
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather data required for reporting and project support.
- Facilitate communication between finance, legal, compliance, and secretarial teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of data-related tasks.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment of data requirements across departments.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- 1 - 3 years of experience in data operations, financial data management, or similar roles, preferably within a finance or corporate setting.

**Technical Skills**:

- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation using Google Apps Script; SQL, Python, or other data-handling languages are a plus.
- Experience with secure data management and access control best practices.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.

- Work Schedule: 6 days a week
- CTC: Upto 3LPA

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
