Abhivyakti Foundation (AF), founded in 2001, is a nationally recognized non-governmental organization working towards sustainable development and community empowerment across India. AF’s interventions span **Education, Public Health, Livelihood, Women Empowerment, Child Welfare, and Environment Conservation**, implemented in **Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Himachal Pradesh**.
The Foundation has been a trusted partner of **NACO, NABARD, DCW, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Artemis Hospital, CLP India, Smile Foundation, BharatCares**, and many others. In Punjab, AF is implementing the **Link Worker Scheme (LWS)** to address **HIV/AIDS prevention and community support** in Tarn Taran district.
**Position: Cluster Link Worker (Two Posts)**
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- Minimum **10+2 qualification** or higher.
- At least **1 year of relevant experience** in HIV/Health/Livelihood promotion, adult literacy, or microfinance programmes.
- Preference for **existing Link Workers** meeting eligibility criteria.
- Must be a **resident of Tarn Taran district**.
- Should be willing to **travel extensively**; vehicle ownership is desirable.
**Salary**: ₹6,050 per month + ₹2,400 TA (as per NACO Guidelines).
**Cluster Link Worker (Two Posts)**
The Cluster Link Worker will be the **primary field functionary** of the Link Worker Scheme, working directly with vulnerable communities, high-risk groups, and youth in villages/wards of Tarn Taran district.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Community Outreach & Mobilization**
- Conduct regular home visits, group meetings, and community-level interactions to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS, STI prevention, safe sexual behavior, and available health services.
- Identify and maintain contact with HRGs (such as Migrants, FSWs, MSM, IDUs) and vulnerable youth in assigned clusters.
- Motivate HRGs and vulnerable groups to go for regular counseling, testing, and treatment.
- **Health Services & Referrals**
- Facilitate access of HRGs to ICTC, STI Clinics, ART Centers, and government hospitals.
- Provide information and distribute condoms, IEC material, and behavior change communication (BCC) messages.
- Support HRGs and PLHIV to reduce stigma and discrimination in families and communities.
- **Community Network Building**
- Work with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, SHGs, and youth groups for community participation in HIV prevention.
- Develop peer educators or community volunteers within villages for sustainability.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**
- Maintain registers of outreach activities, beneficiaries reached, referrals made, and condoms distributed.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Zonal Supervisor.
- **Travel & Field Work**
- Travel extensively within the assigned villages.
- Be available for community mobilization events, health camps, and awareness drives.
