At _**Respirit Healthcare**_, we are building India’s first smart, connected respiratory diagnostic platform - combining medical-grade sensors with AI-powered lung health algorithms. Our product includes a portable spirometry device connected to a mobile app to screen and monitor asthma, COPD, and other lung conditions — especially in underserved areas.

**What You’ll Do**:
As our Signal Processing / Data Scientist, you'll lead the development of algorithms that convert real-time turbine sensor data into clinically validated spirometry values (FEV1, FVC, PEF, etc.).
- Design and implement numerical algorithms for volume integration from airflow data
- Clean, filter, and denoise time-series signals (e.g., Butterworth filters, Savitzky-Golay, etc.)
- Develop methods for calculating spirometric indices per ATS/ERS guidelines
- Validate algorithm output with reference spirometer data
- Collaborate with embedded engineers and pulmonologists
- Create diagnostic visualizations (flow-volume and volume-time curves)

**Tech Skills We're Looking For**:

- Strong foundation in Python, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib
- Experience with digital signal processing, curve fitting, time-series analysis
- Familiarity with biomedical data (spirometry) is a bonus.
- MATLAB, TensorFlow/PyTorch (if you're into ML), experience in clinical data validation (Optional)
