**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, test and process blood and blood components according to standard protocols.
- Label and store blood products in accordance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., NABH)
- Conduct blood typing, cross matching, antibody screening and compatibility testing.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, testing, inventory and transfusions.
- Monitor and manage blood inventory levels to ensure supply meets demand.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Comply with all safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding transfusion needs.
- Assist in donor screening, phlebotomy, and post-donation care as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and audits.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Certification in Blood Bank Technology (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a blood bank or transfusion medicine lab.
- Knowledge of blood bank regulations, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Commitment to patient care and laboratory best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and during emergency situations.

**Salary**: As per industry standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
