Ct Scan Technician

We are the oldest private clinic in the state of Meghalaya, established in 1992 we are expanding our radiology department from 2 USG and digital radiography to Computed Tomography (C.T). The position is for an experienced CT Technologist as there are already 4 existing technicians for other modalities and 2 trainees. Total manpower in the clinic is 98 with total 10 doctors and 2 part time radiologists.

**Location-** Hope Clinic, Pine Mount Ridge, Opp Pine Mount School, Barik, Shillong, Meghalaya 793001.

**Duties**

1. Operate the CT machine independently and execute all troubleshooting with company

2. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations

3. Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures

4. Take patient medical history, previous imaging history before an exam and convey to radiologist

5. Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated

6. Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology

7. Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients

8. Supervised remotely by a certified radiologist but we expect a great amount of independence and responsibility

9. Film printing

10.Supervise the online report delivery to the patient

11. Supervise already existing nurses in the clinic for contrast IV cannulation and patient monitoring

1. Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment

2. Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge

3. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured

4. Able to communicate effectively

5. Able to perform well independently

6. Able to follow detailed instructions from directors and radiologists

7. Exact and precise

8. Highly self-motivated

9. High School graduate

10. Minimum 1 years experience in being a CT technologist

11. Qualified C.T. Tech certified preferred

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
