About the UX Designer role

We are seeking a talented UX Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our products. As a UX Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for our digital products.

Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
- Lead the end-to-end design process for our products, from ideation and conceptualization to execution and implementation.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and ensure a deep understanding of user needs and behaviours.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate ideas with stakeholders and users.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes that deliver a cohesive and engaging user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with product requirements and technical constraints.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience and drive product success.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product design, user interface design, and interaction design.

# Education
- A degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI),
- Certifications in UX/UI design, Interaction Design Foundation courses, or similar programs.

# Experience
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.
- Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Ability to translate user insights into actionable design solutions that address user needs and pain points.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
- A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including examples of wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate design decisions and showcase the impact of your work on user experience and product success.
