**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Teaching and Instruction**:
- Employ a range of pedagogical techniques, including case studies, simulations, and group projects, to promote active learning and critical thinking among students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations (assignments, presentations, exams) with fairness and consistency, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Mentor students academically and professionally, fostering their development as future leaders in human resources.

- **Research and Scholarship**:
- Actively engage in scholarly research in HRM, contributing to the advancement of knowledge through publication in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
- Supervise and guide students' research projects, dissertations, and theses, ensuring high standards of academic rigor and integrity.
- Maintain an ongoing research agenda, seek external funding opportunities, and collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary research initiatives.
- Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars to disseminate research findings and stay abreast of emerging HRM trends.

- **Academic Leadership and Service**:
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring that HRM programs are relevant, rigorous, and reflective of global best practices.
- Assist in the administration of departmental functions, such as student recruitment, timetabling, and coordination of departmental events.
- Participate in institutional initiatives related to accreditation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Engage in committee work and other academic governance responsibilities as required by the department or institution.

- **Industry Collaboration and Professional Engagement**:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate internships, guest lectures, and collaborative projects that enhance the practical learning experience for students.
- Represent the institution in professional HRM organizations, conferences, and industry forums, contributing to the broader HR community.
- Stay informed on HR industry practices, legal developments, and technological advancements to integrate into teaching and research.

- Actively contribute to the promotion of the department’s reputation through outreach initiatives, public relations activities, and student recruitment efforts.
- Participate in institutional committees, faculty development programs, and other initiatives to enhance the overall academic environment.

**Qualifications**:
**Academic Requirements**:
- A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Ph.D. in Human Resource Management or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Evidence of scholarly research and publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences is highly desirable.
**Experience**:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in HRM or related fields at the university/college level.
- Professional experience in HR management, talent acquisition, organizational development, or other relevant HR functions is an advantage.
- Prior experience in supervising graduate and undergraduate research projects is preferred.
