We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **AVP- Regulatory Reporting** **GSC’S**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- CCR Support during S166 and beyond that get involved in the RREP Projects
- Review and validate data against expected quality criteria, log, investigate, escalate and resolve data quality issues
- Perform manual amendments, enrichments and overlays to ensure that the data is of the desired quality.
- Analyze significant movements and validate drivers from sites to ensure data integrity when it comes to providing commentaries for sign off packs.
- Active participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for every change/release to drive consistency and efficiency and also highlighting the issues and taking it for remediation.
- Compile Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly returns for Regulators/Senior Management
- This is a critical role handling PRA reporting submissions and control activities for Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and will impact the quality and timelines of our regulatory submissions.

Requirements
- An Accounting degree, bachelor’s degree or other qualifications relevant to the industry. MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CPA, CFA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles
- Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Environment and GBM products
- PRA and its schedules
- Consolidation of data
- HSBC hierarchy
- Be number savvy and have the appetite in handling and processing mass volume of data
- Strongly analytical and logical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other query tools (Microsoft Office Access)
- Independent and Confident, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent time management and timely delivery of regulatory reporting information.
- Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with internal & external customers / Business areas
- Must have excellent attention to detail and work within tight deadlines ensuring a complete and accurate flow of information's between stakeholders.
- Must be experienced in working under pressure on multiple process improvement projects
- Ability to make robust decisions justifiable in an international environment
- Awareness of Project environments
- Knows HSBC hierarchies
- Experience on creating HFM based tools and templates
