**JD - STAFF NURSE -ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY**
1. Arrive in the unit 5-10 minutes before the duty commences
2. Check the emergency trolley/kit, homecare kit and other articles and take over from the previous duty nurse
3.Ensure material (adequate equipment, drugs, medicines, linen etc.) and mental readiness to meet any emergency in the Accident & Emergency.
4. Keep the Accident & Emergency operationally ready for any emergencies
5. Assist the consultants in the procedure room
6. Ensure that the linen is changed on a regular basis
7. When the patient arrives, receive the patient; direct the stretcher, wheel chair to the bed
8. Assist/transfer the patient to the bed along with other nurses or ward boys
9. Inform CMO
10. Monitor the patient - check vitals, start resuscitative measures if needed
11.Assist the CMO in examining the patient, carry out instructions
12.Patient may be directly shifted to the ICU/O.T. In life saving situations
13. Report untoward incidents to the higher authorities. Accident & Emergency coordinator/Deputy Director Nursing/Executive Nurse
14.Hand over in detail all patients, admissions, deaths or any other events in the Accident & Emergency to the next nurse on duty.
15. Attend home care calls in the absence of home care nurse
16. Acts as a circulating nurse in minor OT on the ground floor if required
17. In case of PAMI inform the supervisor
18. Maintain accurate and proper records of admission, MLC, deaths and other relevant information
19. Instruct the patient regarding treatment and follow up
20. Fill up requisite forms as required, and follow admission protocol if the patient is for admission
21. Ensure all necessary forms are filled accurately by the CMO in MLC cases
22. Any other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director Nursing
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
