JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: EXECUTIVE- PURCHASE
A Purchase Executive is a professional responsible for purchase of Right Material, at right Price, at Right Time, in Right Quantity and Quality. The primary objective of an Executive Purchase is to also identify suppliers and manage cordial relationships with vendors. RESPONISIBILITES:1) Maintain records of goods ordered and received: Keep records of all purchases, including order details, invoices, and receipts. Ensure accuracy in recording quantities, prices and delivery dates.
2)Follow up: Communicate with vendors to track the status of orders and ensure on-time delivery. Address any quality issues promptly by co-coordinating with the relevant parties.
3)Purchase orders: Work with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs. Generate and process purchase requisitions and orders accurately. Evaluate claims against suppliers and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with purchase orders and contracts.
4)Analyze market and delivery systems: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and availability of goods. Review delivery systems to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5)Procedures: Create and update policies and procedures related to procurement. Make sure that purchasing procedures follow industry norms and business objectives.
6)Development of specifications: Collaborate with relevant teams to create specifications for equipment, products, or alternative materials. Ensure that specifications meet the company's standards and requirements.
7)ERP: Use the ERP system properly so as to create timely records that are effective.
8)Vendor Development: Maintain the list of active as well as passive vendors. Ensure that we have more than one vendor for all the inventory items. Visit the vendors at least twice a year for evaluation.
9)Inventory Management: Assist the operations team in maintain optimum inventory levels throughout the year.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- MUST HAVE:Degree / Diploma/MBA.
Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal.
Skills-Computer, Technical knowledge, Confidence. Negotiation skills, 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Import processes.
NICE TO HAVE-Knowledge of an Indian language other than Hindi & Marathi.
Knowledge of relevant Industry.
