We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchant to join our dynamic team. As a Merchant, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement process for our company's products and services. Your main goal will be to ensure that we have a reliable and cost-effective supply chain while maintaining the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and source new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment to avoid shortages or excess.
- Collaborate with various departments, including sales and marketing, to ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from order placement to delivery, and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance to assess their reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.
- Stay updated on industry developments and market conditions to make informed decisions.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and track expenses related to procurement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Merchant, Purchasing Manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
