Lead - Land Acquisition

Location: Barmer, Rajasthan
Experience: 10-12 years
Salary Budget: 15-25 Lacs

Skills Required: Land Acquisition, legal matters, Hindi language, liaison with internal n external stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for Land Procurement either under the relevant Land Acquisition Act or through direct
Lease, Purchase along with relevant permission and approvals applicable in the State.
- Responsible for conducting discussions & negotiations with landowners or land possession holders
regarding land procurement relevant activities and evaluation of assets/encumbrances thereof.
- Ensure collection of accurate and updated revenue records from the Revenue Authorities
- Ensure timely disbursement of payments towards lease/purchase, stamp duty & registration and other
statutory payments.
- Responsible for liaison with Govt. Authorities at State & District level relevant to land procurement and
for obtaining relevant permissions and approvals.
- Responsible for coordination relevant stakeholders and resolution of any community issues or disputes as and
when arise to ensure smooth and timely delivery of land for the project
- Responsible for coordination with TPC Vendor for all land procurement relevant activities like site survey,
getting cadastral details from revenue department, drawings review, land procurement under relevant stipulated
process, etc.
- Technical checking and modifications as and when needed for Land and ROU acquisition process.
- Should travel to other workplaces / operational areas as may be required from time to time
- Should follow and implement the Company’s HSE standards.

Responsible for completeness of total lands in the Region

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Graduate/ Postgraduate with exposure to land related matters for at least 10-12 years, working
experience in Oil & Gas industry would be an added advantage.
- Good coordination and liaison skills required
- Knowledge of Land Acquisition practices and procedures
- Experience to work with a range of stakeholders, internal & external.
- Having worked in Northeast specially Assam would be an added advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English & Hindi is essential. Fluency in Assamee would be an added
advantage.

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING REQUIRED:

- Understanding of prevalent Socio-Political Landscape
- Understanding of the functioning of the Govt. Authorities.
- Awareness about the local community.

**Salary**: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barmer, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
