The role involves managing and coordinating MEP design integration within architectural projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between disciplines through advanced BIM workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Lead **MEP coordination in architectural projects using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Work closely with architects and structural teams to integrate MEP services into building designs without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
- Prepare and maintain **BIM Execution Plans** tailored for architectural-led projects.
- Conduct **clash detection** and resolve conflicts using Navisworks Manage or similar tools.
- Maintain MEP Revit families, templates, and content libraries for consistency and quality.
- Review and ensure accuracy of MEP models before submissions to clients or consultants.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is met.
- Mentor and guide junior BIM technicians within the architectural team. **Required Skills & Competencies**
- Expert-level proficiency in **Autodesk Revit MEP** within an architectural project environment.
- Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proven track record of **BIM coordination** on large commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developments.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to balance design vision and technical feasibility.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities. **Qualifications** M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field Relevant MEP BIM coordination experience, preferably in an **architectural firm** or multidisciplinary design consultancy.
