**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Technician to install, configure, and maintain smart prepaid energy meters for residential and commercial clients. The Technician will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and reliable operation of the energy meters, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation & Setup**:

- Install smart prepaid energy meters at customer premises following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Configure meters and related hardware, ensuring proper connection to the energy grid.
- Program and test meters to ensure accurate energy consumption tracking and seamless integration with prepaid systems.

**Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance checks on installed meters to ensure smooth operation.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware or software issues related to the smart meters.
- Identify faults, repair, or replace malfunctioning meters as needed.
- Provide remote and on-site support for customers facing technical issues.

**Customer Interaction**:

- Assist customers in understanding the usage of prepaid energy meters and payment systems.
- Educate clients on energy conservation and proper usage of the smart meter system.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding maintenance schedules and issue resolutions.

**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work carried out.
- Complete service reports and update the system with the status of each job.
- Report any recurring issues to the Technical Supervisor for further analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or ITI in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related technical fields.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installations or working with energy meters, preferably in a smart metering environment.
- **Certifications**: Electrical safety certifications (if applicable), training in energy meter installations is a plus.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in smart meter installation and configuration.
- Should have own vehicle.
- Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
