Railway Draughtsman

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Technical Drawings**: Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for railway infrastructure, including track layouts, bridges, tunnels, signaling systems, and other related structures.
- **CAD Proficiency**: Use CAD software (such as AutoCAD, L Section, X/Cross Section, ESP, Yard Plan, MicroStation) to produce and modify engineering drawings as per project requirements and standards.
- **Project Collaboration**: Work closely with civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to translate design concepts into technical drawings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project specifications.
- **Documentation and Compliance**: Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Maintain and organize drawings in line with company documentation standards.
- **Revision and Updates**: Update and revise drawings based on project changes, feedback from engineers, or field observations. Ensure all revisions are accurately reflected in final documents.
- **Field Visits**: Occasionally participate in on-site visits to assess infrastructure and gather data necessary for accurate drawings, working under the supervision of senior engineers.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct checks and quality control on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications and company standards.

**Qualifications**
- **Educational Background**: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, with specialization in drafting or CAD.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a draughtsman, preferably within railway or infrastructure projects.
- **Software Proficiency**: Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. Knowledge of other 3D modeling tools (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- **Railway Knowledge**: Basic understanding of railway engineering principles, including track design, signaling systems, and general infrastructure components.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on accuracy and detail, with the ability to spot and correct errors.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal and written communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and explaining technical concepts when needed.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to interpret complex design requirements and work efficiently under guidance to deliver high-quality drawings within deadlines.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with GIS software or BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as AREMA, EN, or other railway standards.
- Knowledge of railway construction processes and materials used in railway engineering.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
