Expert (Sme) - Palo Alto Networks

**Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Palo Alto Networks technologies. Proven experience in implementing and managing Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Expertise**: Serve as the primary expert on Palo Alto Networks solutions, including firewalls, Prisma Cloud, Cortex, and other security products. Provide insights on best practices, architecture, and deployment strategies.
- **Implementation and Configuration**: Lead and assist in the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Palo Alto Networks products. Ensure that all security measures align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- **Incident Response**: Collaborate with the incident response team to analyze security incidents involving Palo Alto technology. Provide recommendations for remediation and future prevention strategies.
- **Training and Support**: Develop and conduct training sessions for technical teams and end-users on Palo Alto Networks tools and security best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
- **Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, best practices, and standard operating procedures related to Palo Alto technologies.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and Palo Alto product developments. Recommend enhancements to existing security frameworks and tools based on evolving industry standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and compliance officers, to ensure cohesive security strategies and implementation.
- **Project Management**: Participate in cybersecurity projects involving Palo Alto solutions. Help define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful completion within budget constraints.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are highly desirable.

**Technical Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products and features.
- Proficiency in network security protocols and technologies (e.g., VPNs, IPSec, SSL).
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and tools, particularly Prisma Cloud.
- Experience with threat prevention, intrusion detection, and incident response.

**Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
