**Position overview**:
Optimas is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Supply chain planner, to provide best-in-class service to our customers in a multi-location global distribution environment. Outstanding collaboration with other members of sales, supply chain and operations support teams is critical to achieving objectives.

**Principal Activities**:

- Support core supply chain planning activities with UK planning team
- Maintain strong supplier relationships
- Adhere and perform to the supply chain support planner key performance indicator
- Adhere to and embrace the THREAD values of Optimas

**Key responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with Multiple Stake Holders to ensure timely communication of part supply.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners and Demand Planning to continuously improve forecast and order portfolios to the supplier.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Placing purchase orders as necessary, ensuring they’ve ordered the right supplies for the job and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Review and Challenge Supplier’s PO acknowledgement.
- Make sure POs are being delivered on time without any expediting charges.
- Responsible for all system transactions to execute purchasing transactions: order requirement, scheduling and placement.
- Coordinate inventory management efforts, work cross-functionally to optimize inventory levels to support on time delivery.
- Utilized Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting to optimize inventory investment
- Meet or exceed Supply Chain Planner Key Performance Indicators.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
