**OT Support Specialist
- Mumbai**

The OT Support Specialist (OTSS) is integral to the daily management of any successful sales region at RHC. As an OT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for working alongside the Sales Representatives, Key Account Manager’s and Sales Manager to service hospitals and provide technical support to all the stake holders within our customer base across the designated territory/market. You will ensure the whole experience of using the products and services to the surgical team is free flowing and without difficulties or problems, securing high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.

In addition to this the OTSS will deliver bespoke training to ensure Surgeons and OT support Staff are competent to operate safely and efficiently with the products. **This position will require the attendance of surgery to provide real-time support to cases.**

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure instrumentation and implants are available to meet customer operating schedules
- Facilitate and organize training for all hospital stakeholders (e.g. surgeons, OT support staff, Sterile Services Staff,etc) to ensure safe and effective use of surgical instruments and implants.
- To be an onsite resource within customer premises, enabling Sales Representatives to jointly concentrate on developing new business opportunities either elsewhere or laterally inside the account.
- Ensure that consignment stock rotation is executed efficiently with minimum quarterly, full account audit and reorder checks on a daily basis.
- Ensure that instrument sets are always in good and safe working order.
- Remove damaged instrumentation and arrange replacement following SOP’s.
- Report LFI & PIs within 48 hours of been made aware of incident.
- Provide each account with training material and an accurate stock list.
- Travel within and outside the territory as and when required.
- Work outside normal working hours to attend surgeries where required.
- Ensure returns and in field movements are carried out following SOP’s.
- Ensure accurate reporting of cases/surgeries through timely submission of implant cards and monthly surgery reports.
- Assist the orthopedic surgical team during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Scrub in for orthopedic surgeries, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring all surgical instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Prepare the operating theatre for orthopedic procedures by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the operating room before, during, and after orthopedic procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning and draping specific to orthopedic surgeries.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of orthopedic surgical supplies and equipment.
- Follow all infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation and transportation of patients to and from the operating theatre.

**Expected Areas of Competence**
- Demonstrate the ability to accept and adapt to different working practices as required by surgeons and hospitals whilst maintaining the protocols
- Full knowledge of divisional product portfolio
- Proficient in training others
- Understanding of technical medical language and anatomy to interact
- with surgeons and OT staff.
- Proven organizational skills and effective time management
- Confident and engaging presentation skills
- To be able to solve given problems in a quick and efficient manner.

**Travel Requirements**
- Ideally a person with Nursing or Healthcare Qualification.
- Prior experience in a clinical environment (preferably in orthopaedic joints theatre related) would be an added advantage.
- Regular travel within the territory/area.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as an OT Assistant or relevant training in surgical assistance.
- Previous experience in an operating theatre, specifically in orthopedics, is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,893.28 - ₹35,702.66 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Overtime pay
