**Key Responsibilities**:
**GST Compliance and Management**:

- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain records of all GST transactions and prepare necessary reports for internal and external audits.

**Taxation**:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and changes to ensure company compliance.

**Financial Statements and Reporting**:

- Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

**Book of Accounts**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.

**Audit and Compliance**:

- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data.

**General Accounting Duties**:

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Support other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures and policies.
- Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.

**General Support**:

- Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist with payroll processing and related activities.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of GST regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
