**Responsibilities**
- Assess students’ abilities and craft teaching plans. Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each kid's abilities.
- Adapt learning materials to students’ needs
- Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
- Manage the flow of consistent communication on special education issues to all stakeholders. Discuss students’ progress with parents, counselors, and administrators.
- Help and support in curriculum development
- Establishes and maintains a safe, orderly, and child-centered environment.
- Counseling parents and kids.

**Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, and an advanced understanding of instructional strategies for students with special needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of members.
- Excellent computer skills
- Supporting the planning of special education initiatives and the implementation of initiatives in Inclusive Education
- Have excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Thorough knowledge of special education laws and regulations
