**What you'll do**:
As an “IT Architecture Expert” in ECS CTO Service Engineering
- You develop concepts to match the requirements of ECS Cloud services with infrastructure and system design
- You support GTM teams with service engineering and operational expertise in large/complex deals
- You conduct internal and customer workshops
- You perform or support technical/architectural projects for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services
- Support troubleshooting of exceptional cases in a 3rd level support role

**What you bring**:

- Working experience of more than 14+ years in the IT Industry
- Solid hands-on know-how with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA, SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and Solution interdependencies
- Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies, LINUX based infrastructures, IT Security, IT Business Continuity including High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Knowledge about one of new virtualization and platform technologies such as VMware or public IaaS solutions like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge in ITIL methodology and IT Operations
- Excellent working skills in English are a must

**Preferred skills**
- Experience in the design of (large) SAP landscapes including high-availability and disaster recovery concepts
- Knowledge of network management concepts and tools in an enterprise environment, e.g. DNS, VPNs, NAT, Load balancing etc.
- Experience in architecture and managing Business Objects technology/platform is highly beneficial but not mandatory

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services is the operations organization of the SAP HANA Enterprise cloud. The team ECS CTO Service Engineering acts as the interface between ECS CTO Operations and SAP field organization. We support Go-To-Market (GTM) teams with operational expertise and conceptual work globally. We pick up service requirements arising from customer engagements and drive Business Development and Portfolio Management to strengthen SAP’s service offering in the managed cloud. We also perform architecture engineering projects and technology innovation pilots to support selected customer projects as well as ECS’s overall portfolio development.
