**PRIMARY SKILLS**:
**Mandatory**:
- Up to 3 years of experience. Experience should include capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
- Operating system experience in Windows and Linux.
- Oracle management tools (RMAN, Data pump).
- The ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
**Preferred**:
- Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP)
- DB design (modelling and normalisation)
- Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM and Active Data Guard.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, installations, managing replications, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility.
- Ensure DB availability.
- Resolving complex issues involving database performance, database capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other key aspects of distributed database technology.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
- Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
- Providing Oracle 11g/12c/19c database administration, database security and production support, primarily in a UNIX environment
- Managing physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring.
- Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB.
- Defining, documenting, and maintaining Oracle DBA team processes.
- Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and enterprise operational requirements
- Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.
- Ensure SLA's & operational KPI’s are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur
- Reporting to management on the Oracle DBA team activities.
**JOB LOCATION**:Mysore.
**EXPERIENCE**: 1 to 3 years
**EDUCATION**:Any three / four-year degree.
**SALARY**:As per standards.
**Salary**: ₹315,537.75 - ₹678,933.84 per year
