The CAD Designer collaborates closely with the design team, gemologists, and other stakeholders to bring concepts to life, ensuring the final products meet the preferences and expectations of the USA market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Creation**:

- Develop innovative and captivating diamond jewelry designs, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, adhering to current fashion trends and consumer preferences in the USA market.
- Utilize CAD software (such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar) to translate sketches and concepts into detailed 3D models.
- **Gemology Expertise**:

- Possess a deep understanding of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals, ensuring the designs incorporate high-quality and well-matched materials.
- Collaborate with gemologists to select the appropriate stones for each design, considering factors like color, cut, clarity, and carat weight.
- **Technical Precision**:

- Create accurate and detailed CAD models that can be used for production, including precise measurements, gemstone settings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure that the designs are feasible for the production process, considering factors like metal casting, stone setting, and assembly.
- **Market Awareness**:

- Stay updated on current jewelry trends, customer preferences, and market demands in the USA to tailor designs that resonate with the target audience.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with the design team, jewelry artisans, and other stakeholders to refine and finalize design concepts.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.
- **Prototyping and Iteration**:

- Create prototypes or 3D-printed models for visual assessment and refinement before moving into production.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4-5 years of proven experience as a CAD Designer in the diamond jewelry industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs.
- Proficiency in jewelry-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix) and rendering tools.
- In-depth knowledge of gemology, including diamond and gemstone characteristics, as well as jewelry production techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
