About the role

**What does the Graduate Programme involve?**
- This programme is dedicated to company’s Biometrics teams (incl. Biostatistics, Statistical Programming) as well as Clinical Data and Insights (CDI) team who drive an integrated end-to-end approach to clinical data, analytics, insights and risk in clinical trials across all aspects of early and late-stage clinical drug development. Our work improves decision making. We propose and implement innovative solutions which contribute to shaping the global pharmaceutical industry.
- This opportunity is targeted at **Clinical Data Curator with little or no experience **of the pharmaceutical industry to support analysis of clinical and operational data to identify patterns and trends that will help to bring additional insights to data management and study teams and improve data quality. During this two-year Programme, you will work under the direction and support of an experienced programmer and will have the opportunity to take part in **rotations** within the CDI department on clinical drug development and automation projects. You will also participate in a structured training program alongside peers from the Biometrics units aimed at developing you into a future leader.
- You will be working side by side with colleagues from our recently formed CDI division in Bengaluru, playing a key role in company’s success. - You will work in a highly collaborative team in CDI, including quantitative, technical, and scientific expertise to collectively contribute to the: curation and de-risking of clinical data; automation of biometrics processes; technical programming and data science projects; development of reporting and analytical solutions; and the documentation of our drug development programs.

**Essential** **requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, life science or statistics
- Familiarity in data science and AI techniques using Python, including ML/NLP algorithms
- Basic experience in data analysis, profiling, investigating, interpreting and detailing data requirements
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask; set priorities and follow a timeline
- Open minded to learning new techniques such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing.
- Good collaboration, communication and influencing skills to enable multi-functional and global interactions.
- Good written and spoken English.

**Desirable** **requirements**
- Knowledge of applied mathematical, machine learning and AI techniques and workflows
- Knowledge of clinical research process
- Awareness of data capture systems/clinical trials.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau)
