Mathematics Instructor

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver compelling online content covering a variety of mathematical topics, adhering to our curriculum and learning objectives.
- Craft clear and concise explanations of fundamental math principles, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus (depending on the course level), ensuring learners with varying backgrounds can grasp the material effectively.
- Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of existing mathematics course content.
- Respond to learner questions and concerns in a timely and helpful manner, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and teaching methods within the field of mathematics education.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in explaining mathematical concepts to a general audience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Passion for mathematics and a desire to empower learners to develop their problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms is preferred.

**Bonus points for**:

- Experience developing online courses or other instructional materials for mathematics topics.
- Industry experience where strong mathematical skills were applied (e.g., engineering, finance, data analysis).
- Knowledge of specific math sub-disciplines (e.g., statistics, probability, discrete mathematics).
