**What you'll do**:
As a Solutions architect in our Professional Services team, you will work directly with our clients to architect and deliver the best solution design for the client's usage of the Pismo platform. You will also work closely with the internal product and engineering teams to design the architecture of the platform for international requirements.

**What we're looking for**:

- Create detailed end-state solution architectures and roadmaps for our clients
- Evaluate and translate business requirements into technical requirements and software platform solutions
- Perform current vs. future state systems analysis and solution design for our clients
- Establish yourself and function as influencer and technical authority
- Facilitate, guide and advise client solutions and decision making
- Ensure significant architecture decisions are documented and communicated
- Evaluate and architecture risks and efforts; prepare for management decisions
- Work with Engineers to establish and continuously improve fundamental architecture and system design principles that are easy to read and understand unambiguously
- Proactively drive the improvement of maintainability and scalability of components
- Engage with Engineering and Product teams to align on the execution plan
- Work hands-on and together with Client and Pismo engineering teams on new initiatives - e.g. POC, prototyping, platform implementation
- Coach internal engineers on architectural thinking and advanced engineering practices
- Be a servant leader available to help engineers with any challenges or questions
- Proactively share knowledge both within and outside of Product organisation
- Identify opportunities to develop internal knowledge capital and collateral and contribute to their creation

**Qualifications and attributes**:

- Strong client-facing skills and experience
- Notable skill for establishing rapport and credibility with clients and product owners
- Strong enterprise-level Banking, Cards and Payments experience
- Strong can-do attitude - able to drive the solution design process forward effectively and quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
- Project management skills
- The ability to self-motivate and set goals
- The ability to think strategically
- Experience in professional services, consulting, and/or pre-sales
- Self-learn new / relevant industry trends and technologies

**Technical and Domain qualifications**
- Deep knowledge of the Credit Cards domain and Electronic Payments such as instant payments, RTGS, ACH, International payments
- Deep knowledge of core banking systems and their roles
- Basic knowledge of data privacy regulations
- Strong architecture knowledge of modern cloud-based development frameworks including microservices, APIs, CI-CD frameworks, data streaming
- Knowledge of modern development languages (Golang, Java)
- Deep knowledge of the Credit Cards domain and Electronic Payments such as instant payments, RTGS, ACH, International payments
- Deep knowledge of core banking systems and their roles
- Basic knowledge of data privacy regulations
- Strong architecture knowledge of modern cloud-based development frameworks including micro services, APIs, CI-CD frameworks, data streaming
- Knowledge of modern development languages (Golang, Java)
