**ABOUT COMPANY**:Large Oil & Gas Company in Qatar.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 3 years of Offshore experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Offshore Platform experience.
- 7 years of Electrical Technician experience in the Oil and Gas field.
- 2 years of GCC Experience.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or an Equivalent.
- Must have CompEx Ex01 to Ex04
- Must have OPITO T-BOSIET
- Must have OPITO H2S
- A good command of the English language (Read-Write-Speak).

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Main Role**
- Execute the maintenance program established in the maintenance plan or according to the instructions received.
- Demonstrate an underpinning knowledge of how certified Ex electrical equipment including Ex 'd', 'e', 'n', 'p', 'm', 'o', 'q', 's', intrinsic safety (IS) maintains its protection concept and how it is to selecting, Installing, maintaining and inspecting Ex electrical equipment.
- Review diagrams and operating/maintenance instructions
- Investigate electrical problems and proposes remedial solutions and implement approved solutions
- Works with equipment for testing and measuring the parameters to ensure traceability
- Records/reports the documentation regarding the services and repairs performed, hard copy or by using the company Maintenance system.
- Checks daily/weekly/monthly electrical equipment/installations according to the instructions received.
- Identifies HSE, Electrical, and Mechanical risk factors and reports when there are incident/accident risks due to malfunction or outside operating limits
- Manage the equipment and keeps it in working order
- Checks the integrity of electrical installations to maintain the established level of security and proposes changes in accordance with the change management procedure in case of any non-compliance
- Maintains records for any changes to electrical equipment/installations
- Make sure that the works can be performed in safe conditions according to the work control system
- Knowledge of IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards.
- Identify the correct test value readings for IS and non-IS installations and equipment.
