- Your key responsibilities**As a part of Supply Chain and External Supply Operations team in Novartis Technical Operations, you can contribute among different teams.**

**Working as a Supply Chain Manager**, you are responsible for developing the “Supply Plan” for the tactical horizon (3/4 to 24-36 months) ensuring the adequate balancing between supply and demand in line with the expected service level and inventory at the next point of the supply chain for the ESO TP/Region.
- **Working as an End-2-End Planner**, your role is to drive the End-to-End Supply Network Planning Manager (SNP) network supply, optimizes inventory, and ensures demand completeness, accuracy, and stability within the tactical (0-3 years) and strategic (3-10 years) horizon for finished product through strategic raw materials.
- **Working as a Strategic Product Lead**, you develop and drive the Novartis Operations Product strategy to realize the Commercial Brand Strategy and optimize performance along the Novartis Operations value chain by managing complexity, driving product strategic decisions with senior management and Operations to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply across lifecycle of a product. Has end-to-end accountability for all product related aspects and can make / propose the right enterprise tradeoffs. Single Point of contact for the Product for the robust, timely, high-quality supply, issue resolution and crisis management and ultimately lead in the cost evolution of the Brand with Novartis Manufacturing Sites.
- **Working as a Technical Manager**, you act as a product technology or process expert, responsible within the External Supplier Relationship team for the management of products throughout their lifecycle, oversight of processes by data trending and statistical analysis of critical parameters, and for ensuring product robustness, proper validation status, and continuous process improvements.
- **Working as a Life Cycle Manager**, your responsibility is leadership, development and execution of the entire product lifecycle activities to third parties, from launching through to discontinuation, in accordance with internal regulations, Good Practices, and business objectives.

**Minimum requirements**

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Minimum university degree in Natural sciences, Technical sciences or Economics.
- From 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience (depending on the role) ideally gained in the pharmaceutical industry across various disciplines.
- Excellent command of English, with a second language preferred.
- Experiences/knowledge in project management and leading project teams to ensure realization of product strategy.
- Ability to continuously foster holistic view over the project activities with strong risk awareness.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Intercultural experiences and strong learning agility to work in complex and rapidly changing business environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
- Kinaxis - Rapid Response Planning tool knowledge is a plus.
