Admission Counsellor

**Job Summary**:
The position of Senior Admissions Counselor at Chinmaya Vidyalaya is an opportunity to shape the future of the institution. You will play a crucial role in guiding potential students through the admissions process, managing a team of admissions counsellors, and developing strategic recruitment initiatives. We are seeking an individual with a strong admissions background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in our student body.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Leadership & Team Management:
Oversee and mentor a team of admissions counsellors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and performance.

Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to achieve admissions goals.

Strategic Recruitment & Outreach:
Design and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract a diverse pool of high-quality applicants.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the institution’s value proposition.

Represent the institution at recruitment events, college fairs, and other outreach activities.

**Admissions Counseling**:
Provide expert guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze admissions data and trends to inform strategic decisions and improve processes.

Customer Service & Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with high school counsellors, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

Address and resolve complex inquiries or issues from prospective students and their families with professionalism and empathy.

Compliance & Policy Development:
Ensure adherence to admissions policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to the development and revision of admissions policies and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

**Experience**: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field, with at least 1 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

**Skills**:
Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

High level of organizational and project management skills
