**What the role is**

We are hiring for the position of Officer - Data Management/Information Analyst in Wealth Data Strategy, based in Bangalore or Chennai, India. In this role, you will be a key individual contributor, responsible for developing and maintaining critical data assets that support Citi’s analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will be an SME in the group supporting one of our key wealth markets, requires mentoring junior folks in the team and drive business critical initiatives.

**What you do**

**Requirement Gathering.**Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their data needs and objectives.

**Data Exploration and Analysis.** Thoroughly explore available data sources, assess their quality and relevance, and identify gaps in existing data assets.

**Specification Development.** Create detailed mappings and technical specifications for data asset development, ensuring alignment with business requirement and data governance standards.

**Build Data Assets.** Develop and build multi-dimensional data assets that captures abundant information about various line of business.

**Process & Controls Orientation.** You develop strong processes, and indestructible controls to address risk and seek to propagate that culture to become the core value of your team.

**Dashboarding and Visualization.** You develop insightful, visually compelling and engaging dashboards that supports decision making and drive adoption.

**Quality Assurance.**Test and validate of developed data assets to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.

**Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing.** Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise in data management and business technology collaboration.

**Qualifications**

**Experience**: Minimum of 5 + years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Management, and Data Strategy.

**Data Modeling Expertise**: Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and excellent SQL skills for efficient querying and database management.

**Technical Skills**: Proficient in PySpark and Python for data extraction, transformation, and in-depth analysis.

**Visualization Tools**: Experience in using Tableau or similar tools to create insightful dashboards and reports.

**Dataiku Expertise**: Hands-on experience in Dataiku is a significant advantage.

**Mentorship & Leadership**: Proven ability to mentor and develop team members while successfully managing and delivering complex projects with measurable impact.

**Banking Industry**: Prior experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus, or a keen interest in exploring this domain.

**Soft Skills**: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skulls, and a proactive approach to collaborating with cross-function
