**6) Job Description :The Export/Import Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating all international shipping**

**activities, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations. The role involves**

**handling documentation, liaising with freight forwarders and government authorities, and optimizing**

**processes for smooth import/export operations.**

**1. Export/Import Operations: Manage and oversee the shipment process, including booking cargo,**

**preparing bills of lading, and ensuring timely delivery of goods, Handle customs clearance**

**procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.**

**2. Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage essential documents like invoices,**

**packing lists, certificates of origin, and letters of credit, Ensure accurate and complete documentation**

**for import/export transactions.**

**3. Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on international trade laws and tariff regulations,**

**Ensure adherence to customs regulations, duty structures, and international trade agreements.**

**4. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and**

**customs agents to streamline logistics, Communicate with internal teams, including sales, production,**

**and finance, to align shipping activities with business needs.**

**5. Cost Optimization: Monitor and manage freight costs, import/export duties, and taxes to achieve**

**cost efficiency, Negotiate with shipping service providers to secure the best terms and rates.**

**6. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or**

**discrepancies in shipments, Analyze root causes of problems and implement corrective measures.**

**7. Reporting and Analytics: Maintain records of shipments, schedules, and related costs, Prepare and**

**present periodic reports on shipping operations and performance metrics.**

**Key Skills and Competencies**:
**In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures, and documentation.**

**Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with vendors and authorities.**

**Familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems.**

**Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).**

**Analytical and problem-solving skills to address logístical challenges.**

**Excellent organizational and time-management skills.**
