Network Security Admin

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5-8 years or more of progressive, relevant experience and proven capability to work in a complex network environment

Required technical skill set
- 1) Firewall / NGFW*
a) Checkpoint, Palo Alto - Must have
b) Azure firewall - Must have
c) Fortinet - Good to have
2) Public Cloud*
a) Microsoft Azure / AWS / GCP - Must have experience & knowledge on services
offered on at least one.
3) Routing & Switching
a) Cisco - Must have
b) HPE / Aruba - Must have
c) Juniper / Arista / Extreme Networks - Good to have experience on either one
4) Load Balancers
- a) Citrix / F5 / Redware - Good to have experience on either one
5) Wireless
- a) Aruba / Cisco / Meraki - Good to have experience on either one
6) SDN
- a) VMWare NSX, SD-WAN - Good to have.
7) Linux / Unix* - intermediate experience preferred.
8) Any Scripting knowledge / experience - Good to have

Requirements
- Proven experience in implementing / configuring / supporting a fully functional &
highly secure network architecture - On prem / Cloud.
- Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills in Firewalls, IPsec VPN & SSL VPN

technologies, Clustering and High Availability (HA) concepts.
- Advanced Knowledge in DDOS, Network Security, Infrastructure Security,

Database/Application Security and Cloud Security
- In-depth working knowledge, configuration and troubleshooting of issues related to Routing, Switching, Load balancer, Wireless.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot various network problems using utilities like nslookup, traceroute, ping, netstat, etc. and packet sniffers like wire shark, tcp dump etc.
- Be comfortable working with CLI of any device & analyse logs.
- Effectively work with monitoring tools (either based on Windows / Linux), log

management tools, SIEM tools - define threshold for metrics OR trigger alerts for
specific logs.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, and be able to

present to business and technical users internally.
- Proactively self-initiated tasks, own priority customer accounts & responsible to

improve service.
- Possess strong decision-making capability & be able to collaborate with peers.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and result oriented

Responsibilities
- Designs, supports, and maintains network & security devices in a highly complex

environment.
- Proactively monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves network infrastructure related

issues for multiple customers.
- Collaborate & align with vendor and customer to help resolve difficult issues OR

provide working solution to customer's requirement.
- Participate in multiple customer projects and technology transitions and the ability

to identify and resolve chronic issues.
- Establish excellent communication with varying levels of staff across different global

clients as well as internally.
- Effectively maintain and update any documentation, tools and systems for changes

and updates.
- Perform periodic environment reviews and provide guidance to team members for

any improvements that could be recommended for customers.
- Provide support in a 24x7 support model

Certifications - Added Advantage

Microsoft Azure certs - AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator,
AZ-700 Designing & Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions
Checkpoint - CCSA, CCSE (R80.40 or later)
Palo Alto - ACE, PCNSA, PCNSE (PANOS 9 or later)
