Life Claims Adjudicator:
The Individual Insurance Claims department plays a crucial role with our clients as we offer them financial help when they most need it. Role summary: The Claims Adjudicator is responsible for the assessment of claims for individual insurance.
Main Accountabilities:
- Assess the documentation received for a claim in order to reach a decision Determine how the contract applies to each claim
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, advisors and various professionals and effectively manage their expectations
- Maintain established service standards Evaluate opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in team initiatives and projects
Competencies:
- Knowledge of individual life insurance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle written and telephone inquiries of a sensitive nature
- 3 years of client service experience or 2 years in a claims environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to provide quality service
- Ability to balance high work volumes and telephone inquiries
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Solid PC skills with knowledge of Word and Excel
**Requirements**:
- College diploma/university degree/CEGEP degree or relevant experience
- Knowledge of MLIF, Ingenium, CSW, Filenet and IBM Notes
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Knowledge of individual life insurance
Assets:
- Education involving knowledge of Medical terminology
- First Level LOMA diploma or dedication to work towards attaining it
Analyste en Règlements Vie:
L'équipe chargée des règlements d’assurance individuelle joue un rôle essentiel auprès de nos clients en raison de l'aide financière offerte au moment où ils en ont le plus besoin. Nous sommes à la recherche d'une personne dynamique qui souhaite occuper le poste d'analyste en règlements. Le titulaire du poste aura la possibilité de gravir les échelons à l'interne grâce à notre échelle de progression.
Description du poste : L'analyste en règlements est chargé de l'évaluation des demandes de règlement d'assurance vie pour le secteur de l'assurance individuelle.
Principales responsabilités:
- Évaluer les documents reçus concernant une demande de règlement dans le but de rendre une décision.
- Communiquer clairement et de manière proactive avec les clients, les conseillers et les différents professionnels et gérer efficacement leurs attentes.
- Respecter les normes établies en matière de service.
- Évaluer les occasions d'amélioration des processus et participer activement aux initiatives et aux projets d'équipe.
Compétences:
- Connaissance de l’assurance vie
- Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite et capacité de traiter des demandes de renseignements confidentielles par téléphone et par écrit
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
- 3 ans d'expérience en service à la clientèle et 2 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de demande de règlement
- Grandes aptitudes pour l’analyse et la résolution de problèmes
- Souci du détail
- Esprit d'équipe, optimisme et engagement à offrir un service de qualité
- Capacité de gérer un volume de travail élevé et de nombreuses demandes de renseignements par téléphone
- Bon sens de l’organisation et de la gestion du temps
- Excellentes connaissances en informatique, notamment des logiciels Word et Excel.
