**Basic Qualifications**:

- At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operational Research, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of DBA experience.
- Monitor & troubleshoot databases, alerts, backups and performance issues.
- Familiar in handling any of these databases on Unix and Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with RDBMS technologies: Predominantly in Oracle.
- Knowledge on DB2 or SQL server would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on Oracle RAC database administration.
- Implementation of Stand by databases / Data Guard will be a add-on.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve database problems.
- Knowledge on Golden Gate replication technology.
