Tmt Technician

**Job Role: TMT Technician (Healthcare - Diagnostic Services)**

**Department**: Cardiology / Diagnostics
**Reports to**: Cardiologist / Diagnostic Center Manager
**Location**: Diagnostic Lab / Hospital

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Preparation**:

- Explain the TMT procedure to patients clearly and answer any queries.
- Prepare patients for the test, including attaching electrodes and monitoring equipment.
- Take relevant medical history to assess TMT suitability.
- **Test Execution**:

- Conduct the treadmill test following standard protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs (ECG, heart rate, blood pressure) during each stage of the test.
- Recognize abnormal patterns and notify the attending physician immediately if needed.
- **Equipment Handling**:

- Operate, calibrate, and maintain TMT machines and related equipment.
- Ensure all machines are functioning properly before and after each test.
- **Data Management**:

- Record test results accurately and prepare reports for the cardiologist’s review.
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation is filed.
- **Patient Safety & Emergency Response**:

- Monitor patients for signs of distress during the test and be prepared to initiate emergency protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly followed.
- **Coordination & Communication**:

- Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff for patient scheduling and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other team members to ensure smooth test workflow.
- **Compliance & Quality Control**:

- Follow clinical protocols and diagnostic standards as per NABL / hospital guidelines.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Certification in ECG/TMT/Cardiology Technician course.
- Prior experience in performing TMT tests (1-2 years preferred).
- Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and ECG interpretation.
- Proficiency in handling medical equipment.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹202,800.00 per year
