We are hiring Loading and Unloading Helper is responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of goods, products, or materials from delivery trucks, storage areas, or other locations. This role involves manual labor and requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and an ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities and Roles**

**Loading and Unloading Goods**

1.Assist in loading goods, products, or materials onto trucks or transport vehicles according to shipment orders or inventory lists.

2.Unload goods from trucks or containers upon arrival, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.

3.Arrange goods inside trucks or storage areas in a safe and efficient manner to optimize space.

**Organization and Staging of Items**

1.Organize goods for loading, making sure items are properly grouped, tagged, or identified for easy access during transportation or unloading.

2.Help stage materials for easy retrieval during unloading or shipment preparation.

**Physical Handling of Goods**

1.Lift and move heavy items manually or with the aid of equipment (e.g., hand trucks, dollies, forklifts).

2.Ensure that goods are handled properly, paying attention to weight distribution and safety protocols.

**Assist with Inventory Management**

1.Help keep track of inventory by counting items, checking for damages, and ensuring all goods are accounted for during loading and unloading.

2.Verify shipment accuracy by comparing items to the packing list or invoice.

**Safety and Cleanliness**

1.Adhere to safety regulations while lifting, loading, and unloading to prevent accidents or injuries.

2.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that areas are free from debris or obstacles that could cause harm.

3.Ensure proper handling of hazardous or fragile materials by following safety procedures.

**Assist with Packaging**

1.Help with the packing or unpacking of items, securing goods in boxes, crates, or pallets to prevent damage during transport.

2.Ensure that items are wrapped and cushioned appropriately, especially fragile or perishable goods.

3.Operate Loading Equipment (if applicable)

4.Operate basic loading equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or dollies, when trained and certified to do so.

4.Assist in the loading or unloading process by operating these tools efficiently and safely.

**Collaborate with the Team**

1.Work as part of a team with other loaders, unloaders, or drivers to ensure smooth and timely loading/unloading.

2.Follow instructions from supervisors or managers regarding loading/unloading orders or schedules.

**Report Damages or Discrepancies**

1.Notify the supervisor or manager immediately if any items are damaged or discrepancies in the shipment are noticed.

2.Assist in resolving issues related to damaged or misplaced items during the loading/unloading process.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**

1.Help with basic documentation, such as logging shipments, recording inventory, or taking note of any special instructions.

2.Ensure that any necessary forms or checklists are filled out for tracking purposes.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
