**About the role**

Staymaster is seeking a Billing & Accounts Associate as a part of its central accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a young and growing team at Staymaster and as one of the first employees in the function you will help set up the department, define systems, processes and best practices.

In this role, your primary focus will be to manage end to end billing requirements for all Staymaster accounts, review and reconcile cash flows and taxes, resolve queries regarding TDS, GST, expenses that may arise with clients and suppliers while ensuring accuracy in transactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounting & Book-keeping - systematically and accurately track all financial transactions, create, review and record invoices in a timely manner. Facilitate accurate and timely payouts to hosts and landlords and work closely with vendors to follow up on outstanding payments.
- MIS Reports - Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required by the management to assess the financial performance of the organi sation. Work with Revenue Managers on account specific reports highlighting earnings, expenses, profits and other metrics that will be shared with clients on a monthly basis.
- Taxation & Regulations - Work with the company CA & CS on filing taxes and related documentation.
- QC & Process Setting - Conduct quality checks for revenue leaks, set internal processes to streamline invoicing and taxation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, CA or Business Administration preferred
- 1-2 years accounting experience, in a high growth startup or online travel agency preferred
- Financial literacy and business operations experience a must
- Well versed in Excel or Google Sheets preferred
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Team player with positive and agile attitude required
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask projects through from start to finish.
