**Job Title**: Cafeteria Chef (Employee Dining Room)
**Location**: The Valle by Kondody Hotels, Pallivasal, Munnar
**Employment Type**: Full-time
**Salary**: ₹16,000 - ₹20,000 per month
The Valle by Kondody Hotels is looking for an experienced and skilled **Cafeteria Chef** to manage the Employee Dining Room. The role involves preparing high-quality meals for hotel staff, ensuring the cafeteria operates smoothly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare daily meals for hotel employees, following the set menu and considering any special dietary requirements.
- Plan and organize meal preparations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering and storing ingredients, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Set up and manage food stations, ensuring the cafeteria is organized and well-stocked at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations and a seamless dining experience for staff.
- Respond to staff inquiries and special requests in a professional manner.
- Report equipment malfunctions and any other operational issues to the supervisor promptly.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Excellent cooking skills, with experience in preparing a variety of dishes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work day and rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light to moderate physical tasks.
